William Li, MD is a co-founder of the Angiogenesis Foundation in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he serves as President and Medical Director. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and has worked with Dr. Judah Folkman in Boston in the area of angiogenesis research.

David Cheresh, PhD is a prolific researcher and scientist in the field of angiogenesis. He has been affiliated with the Scripps Research Institute in California for over 18 years and also works with a number of firms developing angiogenesis-related drug therapies.

Richard Davies, MD is the Chairman of Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is widely known for his work in women's health and provides the Company with important medical insights regarding breast-imaging techniques and clinical practice.



Clinical Radiology Advisors

Vincent Campanella, MD is a Medical Imaging and Breast Imaging Technology Consultant. He is a Board Certified radiologist who completed both a residency and fellowship in diagnostic radiology at Johns Hopkins hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently affiliated with the Department of Radiology at White Plains Hospital Center, White Plains, New York. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine.

Tova Koenigsberg, MD is a Board Certified clinical radiologist in private practice. She completed a residency at Columbia University Presbyterian Center, New York, where she subsequently served as Chief Resident in the Department of Radiology. She has also completed a fellowship in mammography and ultrasound at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She is a graduate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Board of Directors

Robert B. Machinist is Chairman of the Board.  Mr. Machinist has served as a managing partner of M Capital, LLC, a private- equity investment firm based in Rye, New York, since January 2002.  From November 1998 to December 2001, Mr. Machinist served as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for the Bank of New York and its Capital Markets division.   He is the Chairman of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science and a member of its International Board of Governors.

David H. Clarke  is a co-founder of DOBI Medical Systems.  Mr. Clarke had been a director of DOBI Medical Systems since December 1999.  Mr. Clarke is the controlling stockholder of Lake Worth Ventures, Inc., which was the largest stockholder of DOBI Medical Systems and, as a result of our December 2003 merger, is our largest stockholder.  Since 1995, Mr. Clarke has been the Chairman and CEO of Jacuzzi Brands, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange-listed company. 

Phillip C. Thomas is a co-founder of DOBI Medical Systems.  Mr. Thomas had been the Chief Executive Officer and a director of DOBI Medical Systems since December 1999, and for more than one year prior thereto, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Dynamics Imaging, Inc., a corporation from which DOBI Medical Systems acquired its DOBI technology and other non-financial assets.  Over the past 25 years, Mr. Thomas has served in a number of public and private high technology senior executive positions.  Mr. Thomas received his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and has completed executive development courses at Harvard Business School and Stanford Business School.

William Li, MD is also a member of our Scientific Advisory Board.  Dr. Li is a co-founder of the Angiogenesis Foundation in Cambridge, Massachusetts, of which he has been the president since April 1990 and Medical Director since December 1994.  Dr. Li works in association with the National Institutes of Health, the Veterans Administration and other major governmental and academic institutions on angiogenesis-related programs.

Webb W. Turner is the Chairman of the Board of Dynamics Imaging, Inc.   Mr. Turner has over 20 years' experience with investment banking and advisory firms, and 10 years' experience as the chief executive officer of a furniture manufacturing company.

Brad Baker has a career that includes over 12 years as president and one of the principal founders of Patricof and Co. Capital Corp. and its successor companies.  From April 2000 to February 2002, Mr. Baker served as head of the online division of Sterling Financial Investment Group, an investment company banking firm which served as the placement agent in the private placement which the Company completed in connection with the merger.
